Generate Task Dates on the Gantt View
Agency life is fast-paced, and managing the unknowns that come with handling multiple projects at one time is part of the job. With FP schedules, we help you plan ahead, make changes quickly, and remain consistent. You can generate the start and due dates of a task right on the Gantt view, and it’s as easy as a click and drag. Just click to generate the dates, and then drag to adjust the dates to fit your schedule.
Here’s How:
- In the Gantt view of a schedule, click “set dates now” for any task that doesn’t already have dates assigned.
- Drag either end of the task to adjust the duration.
- Drag the whole task to change when it starts and ends.
Schedules are an essential part of keeping everyone on the same page and on pace during a project. By managing your schedule in the Gantt view, you get a bird’s-eye view of a project’s timeline before deciding what your next move will be. Stay tuned for the next #OptimalPrime where we continue your transformation into a productivity pro with a new trick in FP.
