Get Tasks Off Your Mind and Into Your To-Do List With the ‘Quick Task’ Button
Trying to remember all the things you need to get done can be exhausting. Building a habit of getting tasks out of your head and on to your to-do list is important for you to be able to focus on what needs to get done right now. With the Quick Task button on the Tasks / To Dos dashboard tile, you can save time by adding Tasks to FP in a few clicks, while putting your mind at ease.
- On the Tasks / To Dos tile of your dashboard, click the “Quick Task” button.
- Fill in the Task details.
- (Optional) If you want to attach the Task to a Job, click “Show More”.

Need to remind Josh to send out the actions items for the meeting you just had? Want to set yourself a reminder to send out invitations for the company social? Just create a quick task, set a due date and let Function Point take care of rest.
